Give your room a makeover!

Color
De color is pretty much the most important thing in your room, so it is very, very important to pick the right color, that fits your personality and taste perfectly. 
If you want something restful and timeless, you should paint your room in white. But if you think white is too boring for you, you can paint one single wall in a cute pastelcolor like mintgreen, lightpurple, etc...
If you want something that is a little bit more crazy, paint your room white and paint 1 - 2 wall(s) in a dark color like darkpurple, darkblue, darkred... 
Ofcourse you can paint your intire room in just one color, but don't go for a color that is too dark or dramatic. 

Mess!
Is your mother claiming that your room is a mess? Ofcourse clothes and dirty underwear on the floor are just not cute, but not all your purses or books have to be in your closet! It looks very cute to collect some beautiful books and just put them on a shelf. And you can totally hang your purses somewhere, as long if your room is not an intire mess.

Personalize a wall!
Put lights, pictures, posters, and everything you like on your wall! It looks very cool and a it is also a great way to collect memories. A great DIY is to hang some pictures on a rope en hang it on your wall. 

Bedspread
When people look around in your room, one of the first things they will mention is your bedspread. So be sure it looks cute and it fits your style totally. You can totally put some warm blankets on your bedspread to make it more 'fallish'. 

Pillows
A very nice way to costumize your room is to put some pillows on your bed, your couch and even the ground!
